The Sun Odyssey 42.2 was designed for ocean navigation and its advanced hull design will deal with tough conditions with ease, not that you will need it here. It is a spacious, highly stable and easy to sail vessel that allows larger parties to enjoy sailing longer journeys in great comfort. This is a well crafted yacht, traditional Jeanneau quality.
This yacht provides comfortable accommodation for 8+ in 4 cabins. 2 aft cabins with double beds, 1 double cabin in the bow and a roomy double bunk cabin. You have 2 large bathrooms (toilet & shower) fore and aft with warm water.
The saloon and navigation table area is big, bright and airy with mahogany interior. The practical galley area is along the port side with additional hatches for better ventelation of the vessel. This area is also kept cool with blinds on every window and we supply a 'ventilation sail' which can be set up to provide a front to back cool breeze through the boat. On the stern you have bathing platform, swimming ladder and deck shower.
The yacht has teak decks and the cockpit is large with a single wheel which provides space for people sail management. It has a furling main and roller Genoa for simple sail handling and a large bimini top and spray hood providing good cockpit cover.
