See Pelion from the Sea, sail or power, you choose, your day!

The Day Plan

After a few formalities the day plan is up to you. We will arrange collection from an agreed place, be that a beach, village or Volos. The skipper will provide a brief introduction to the Yacht with primary focus on safety and then we are off.

When we are underway we will discuss a plan for the day. As shown opposite, the Gulf, coastline and islands is a massive place to explore in a day. We can head south and cruise around Alatas Island near Milina and along the coast to Prasoudha Island. We can then follow the coastline towards Kotte or out to Pithou Island to stop and anchor for a swim and snorkeling. We can stop and have a picnic lunch (please feel free to bring a hamper)onboard or anchor and go to a taverna. In the afternoon we head out into the Gulf (sailing if you wish) cruising through these magical waters with the engine off in light wind it is ... magical!

This is your day and you can sunbath and relax while the skipper does all the work OR take over the yacht and navigate, plot a course and get us to our destination.

As ever with yachting what we can do will be guided by the weather. Mostly the summer days are sunny and warm and the wind picks up in the afternoon so we can finish the day sailing into the setting sun (if you wish). If the weather is not great it is not a problem, we are in a very comfortable yacht.

"If you have always wondered what it would be like to go cruising in a yacht then give it a go, you might get hooked".

The Cruising Area - Pagasitikos Gulf - 12 x 15 nm of crystal clear, warm, safe sea!

With Volos City to the north, the Mount Pelion peninsular to the east, the Evia channel to the south, mainland Greece to the west and an abundance of beautiful islands to explore, the views are exceptional.

Along the west side we have the beautiful villages of Gatzea, Kala Nera, Afissos, Lefokastro, Horto and further south the Island of Alatas by Milina. Then, Prasoudha Island with the bluest blue sea you have ever seen and caves to explore.

To the south Palaio Trikeri and Pithou Island with wonderful views of the Trickeri peninsula.

To the south-west Ormos Ptelou at the foot of Mount Pteleos with the vilages of Ahillion and Pigadhi where we can see the Achilles Tower. Heading north from here we pass by Sourpi (Nies), Nikolaos Island and the town of Amalioupolos and on towards Volos.

"Pelion is a magical place by land or by sea and the objective is to show you around from the water side making this the most unforgettable day of your holiday and introducing you to the wonderful world of yachting."
